I really must get to the Henry F...I love this post. I really must get to the Henry Ford Museum someday. There's a special feeling, just as you describe, of seeing the actual items that were in use many years ago, some by common folk, and some by famous people. I've gotten that feeling since I was a child, visiting museums and historic houses.
