Kids all have keyboards and text all their "correspondence." Some people fear the ability of the next generation to even READ cursive handwriting will be lost. Imagine that. Penmanship is out the window, and the written word will seem like hieroglyphs to these kids. I know times are always changing, but this makes me sad.

-PamPam of Eastlake Victorianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18149348967860577425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-56451385109293718.post-56530735347849686632011-06-03T14:04:59.686-04:002011-06-03T14:04:59.686-04:00That's really neat that you save those everyda...That's really neat that you save those everyday e-mails. I never thought to do that. I do keep a journal, I find myself recording stupid things (like the price of milk and gas) which are the kinds of everyday stuff I wish someone wrote about in the past. :D

We had a project in college where the students were asked to address a letter and only 3 people in the class could do it correctly.

I like to mail letters, even if it is just for the novelty. I save letters I receive. I, like you, glue them into my journal.Stephanie Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13324411278252488163noreply@blogger.com
